EVS AIDE
The Environmental Services Aide in a hospital and nursing home is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Key responsibilities include:
Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, restrooms, and public areas to prevent the spread of infections.
Restocking supplies such as hand sanitizers and tissues, ensuring they are available.
Performing waste disposal and handling hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
Assisting in housekeeping duties during staff shortages and following proper cleaning techniques.
Maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, including OSHA regulations.
This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to health and safety, and the ability to work in a hospital setting with varying shift schedules.
